What an interesting book. For the past year and change, Avengers: Initiative has been a device for the introductions and re-introductions of minor Marvel characters as part of the Tony Stark ascendancy. Now that this is gone, this book is more about examinations of these minor characters in the Dark Reign era.

This week’s primary plot deals with the former New Warriors as they address the horrifying threat of the Thor clone. A subplot in Madripoor is quite interesting, as well. The plot moves cleverly, and there is plenty of action.
