This story starts where we left off in the last issue where Korvac pretty much defeated the whole avengers team. So we bring the future selves of our academic students. It seems to be that they have the power have the power to defeat Korvac, (of course we expect them to win like any other superhero comics) they do. The best part of how they defeated Korvac is that Christos Gage didn't make a new way to defeat him, he used a play of original way.
These are gonna be real spoilers soooo...watch out i guess...
However it is what comes after words that should be the main story. The aftermath, the emotional spectrum of our main characters students and teachers alike. Which I thought was great storytelling. Not everything goes back to status quo which a step forward for storytelling. To go through the characters, 1) Striker dies. 2) Veil cures herself enough that she wont die when she in her 20s. 3)Humberto gets the power upgrade and doesn't not want to go back and return it. 4) Mettle and Hazmat are in the same boat realizing that they wont be cured so much in the future (this is the mos the emotional part the story the last 2 pages say it all). 5) Nothing happens to Finesse. 6) Hank Pym is shown to be a delicate man and needs reason to go one forward and he had 2 a) to cure the students b) resurrect Janet. He loses one but gets it back. Gage handles Pym very well.
Well the storytelling was great the story progress and all. maybe the dialogue was little long during the fight scenes I really dont notice that but whatever.
The art was a very good for the story these guys are teenagers and are drawn that way. But the future selves I though Hazmat and Finesse looked alike (then again Hazmat was in a mask). So I can't complain (I mean all my drawings look alike, you know how stick figures are).
Please comment and tell me what you though of my review. I would like to hear all good and bad.
