The layout for this crossover between The Authority and Stormwatch makes more sense with this issue.  I, like everyone else, was puzzled why when the crossover began it seemed like they rushed through the battle with Eidolon and his army.  With this issue, (and apparently Stormwatch PHD #19) it will fill in a tad more of what happened with the battle.  The main point obviously besides the huge battle was what happened to Fuji and Angie’s confrontation with Eidolon.  Speaking of Angie and Eidolon, we get a very cool fight between the two and a surprising resolution that I think most people will like.  Two other things I think people will like is the little bit of information we get about Apollo and his current situation and an “unpleasant surprise” (literally) for Jack Hawksmoor. And the seeds planted concerning the mysterious Rendlesham come to a head as The Authority heads out to help them and finds themselves (specifically Midnighter) in a precarious situation.

But as good as the main story was, Part 2 of “The Tao of Tao” backup story blew me away!  We finally get to see Tao’s true plan and it is truly evil.  For those who didn’t think Wildstorm: Armageddon was that important, Tao’s revelation here puts a whole new spin on that story.
