This is my POW, again another solid issue for Aquaman!! I for one can not believe after one story arc that I would still be looking forward to the next Aquaman issue. Like many others this has been the biggest and best suprise of the New 52 and I like the way the story arc was well simple yet very suspenful! These trench creatures were really a horror type treat. I think we will be seeing them again really soon, even though it appears Aquaman has destroyed thier entire species there at the end with volcano and the giant rock bed. which really shows off the new positive and much stronger warrior that A-man is!! I like on the very last few pages as Mera tries to reassure A-man that he had to do what he had to do and he was just fine with it no remorse!! Shows a great mind set for a warrior and a leader. Confident in his decsions and sticks with them for better or for worse. Unlike the old Aqua-wuss!! In closing for this review and my POW for sure it ended perfectly and the classic last page gave it the old classic comics feel. Loved it! K
