This was easily one of the best new offerings when DC kicked off the New 52 last year. Unfortunately, since Travel Foreman dropped off, the art chores have seemed just that…CHORES! Lemire may have a good story going here, but the alternating artists and inkers make it really disjointed and difficult to get through an issue. I really want to keep reading and take full advantage of the Rotworld saga, but, damn, the art is awfully distracting! Pick one artist or find 2 that are more complementing of each other! This is not working! I’d love to stick around and see where all of these great characters end up, but the clunky, inconsistent artwork is really taking away from the enjoyment.

Story: 4 - Very Good

  1. Agreed, i dropped it a few issues back because the art sucked balls and the story fell into the dirt and stayed there. Swamp thing however kept its good artist and makes the story more interesting each issue.
