The last issue of Angel when the new team took over was not very good.  This issue fortunatly the writing got a little better.  Last issue it felt like they were throwing a too many story ideas at us at once, but this issue was much more focused.  Though there were some characters lines that didn’t seem to quite fit with their tv show counterparts still, the story was interesting and makes me want to stick through this whole arc and see where it is going at least.  The art on the other hand had some serious problems.    The panel after Kate disses Gwen for the first time and Gwen is standing there with her arms crossed makes her look hideous, and Gwen should never look hideous. Later there is a panel containg the heads of Kate, Angel, and Conner as they’re walking and talking and Angel’s head is clearly too large as if he was hulking out for one panel.  Hopefully this will improve soon along with the writing or I’m likely to drop it in another couple of issues.

Story: 3 - Good
Art: 1 - Poor
