As a fan who’s recently returned to Spider-man, I’ve found the stories featured in 647 to be a refreshingly fun book in contrast to all the dark and dreary books that generally come out from month to month. Though the stories do feature darker moments, they are over shadowed (no pun intended) by the humor that I felt was lost on the series when I stopped reading after “One More Day”. Though some of the art was not to my taste, I found this book to be fun and entertaining, all the while reminding me why I love super hero comics. Plus how can you beat a baby in a Doc Ock costume, strapped to Harry Osbourn’s chest, reaching for a naughty nurses’ chest which he assumes is his next meal. Classic.

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 3 - Good
