Since I first read Johns was leaving this book, I’ve debated dropping it. I caved last issue and was pleasantly surprised with a self contained, enjoyable read. As I walked up to the counter this week, I caved again but when I arrived home, I wasn’t happy. This issue contains three set-up stories that are not only deeply entrenched in the current Superman status quo but also mediocre in every sense of the word. The first story was definitely the best but was still the weakest Legion story since Johns brought them back into current DC continuity. The second story was basically a recap of what has been going on with Mon-el in the Superman title and by the time I got to the third story, I really couldn’t care less. If you are reading all of the Superman books right now then you probably enjoyed this a lot more than me. Fortunately, I stopped trying to read all the Superman books a long time ago and I am glad I did. I picked this book up because I love the Legion and had been reading every issue of Adventure, but after this issue, this series has officially been dropped from my pull list.

Story: 1 - Poor
Art: 3 - Good
