This comics seems more in line with an DC Office Christmas Gift rather than an issue to a monthly comic for the general public. Continuing from last month, Black Lantern Earth 3 Luthor confronts Superboy Prime and rather than take him on, SB makes a bee line for the DC Offices. In jokes and cameo appearances galore, but where's the story? This is probably great for those who work at DC but for me, I felt that this was silly and didn't really hold any value or weight to me as a reader. Added to the fact that this 2 parter ruined the flow of the story that Johns and Manapul were telling about the reintroduction to the proper Superboy. With the book already in for changes when Levitz takes over, this book is off the rails at issue #5, not common for something with John's name on it. Ordway's art was serviceable, but I rather like the idea of his art being "THE art" for Earth 2, so I think they should they have gotten someone else for Earth Prime.
