I prefer Morrison’s version of the Joker a million times more than Cornell’s.  While we’re on the subject, I prefer Daniel’s and Irving’s Joker over Woods any day of the week also.

I was so excited about seeing an exchange between Luthor and the Joker when I first saw a preview of one of the pages some time ago because I can’t remember the last time I saw the two together.  What a let down!!  I know Joker is crazy but I had no idea what the hell he was talking about the entire issue!!  I didn’t  get any of the jokes either.  I read the issue twice and I still don’t have much of an idea what the hell I’m reading about here.  I don’t really don’t care anymore either.

I just don’t see the attraction with Cornell.  I was pretty happy with the first few issues of this run but each issue just got progressively worse after that.  I don’t think I enjoyed any of this since Gorilla Grodd made an appearance, I honestly couldn’t explain why I keep buying it other than the fact that it’s only $2.99 now and my pull list has been rather small lately.

I just dying to know who is taking over after #700 because there isn’t much more of this I can stand.  Maybe I’ll enjoy the run a little more if I read it all in one sitting, but as the way it stands now, I’m about to start leaving issues of Action Comics on the rack next to all the leftover issues of JMS Superman that aren’t exactly flying off the shelf either…
