Wow. Part 6 already! It seems like this arc of Action Comics has really flown by. This collection of stories following Lex Luthor have been one of my favorite parts of the post-Blackest Night DC Universe. This issue, features the caveman conquerer himself, Vandal Savage and while it isn’t my favorite issue in the run it is still a quality book. Also, the Nick Spencer writ back-up with Jimmy Olsen attempting to bore an alien invasion into leaving was a veritable giggle-fest and other than one panel right at the end that made Lois Lane look downright monstrous this was a well-drawn throwback to the old Jimmy Olsen adventures. Action Comics continues to do well even without the Man of Steel and is one of the best comics on the shelves today.

  1. I gave it three stars.  It was the second worst issue of the arc so far, but not horrible. I just hope that next month’s issue is much better!!
