San Diego Comic-Con is in full swing, but that doesn’t stop Conor Kilpatrick from picking Brightest Day #6 as the Pick of the Week, and Josh Flanagan and Ron Richards join in the fun to discuss the books they loved and hated from this week. Recorded under guerrilla conditions in their hotel room, the sound quality isn’t so great and the show is a bit short, but we hope you enjoy it. We’ll be back to full strength (hopefully) next week! Walking Dead Spoiler Alert!!!!!
"Thomas Wayne likes to take a shot in the mouth" – That’d be akin to blasphemy if it didn’t make me laugh so much.
Will you have the "scenes" listed and what point in the podcast they are next week? Becuase usually there is only one or two books I care about you talking about and I don’t which ones you’re going to be talking about.

RE: G.I. Joe Cobra #6 – My first interpretation of the "hallucination pages" was that they were just pages from the pamphlet that Serpentor printed and distributed. Maybe it’s a mix of both.

This one has an "iFanboy: Year One" vibe, due to its looseness and time-length, but with one major retcon: Josh is actually buying comics now.
Whoever you got to impersonate Conor did a great job, but whoever you had playing Josh and Ron didn’t sound like them at all.
That was indeed a short one. good job its not 11 o clock comics, they wouldn’t even have gotten onto the drinks roll call after half an hour.
Josh and Ron sound like they went a little big at the bar the night before.
I suspect Jameson shots- many of them.
A side note- Does anyone else think that Moonstone is a lost character.
I just dont get any sense that she would still be on this team- it almost feels that she is just on it to be on it
b/c she was on previous team.
To me her character would always need an angle – an objective and she is just being portrayed here like she is punching a clock.
Feels like she has completely lost her spirit.SHe has never been a major character fo rme- but there definitely feels like a vacuum here.
Ron sounds a lot like Jason Mewes this week.
