For a book called "Young X-Men" the cover is a little racy don’t you think? I love the Dodsons’ art, but it doesn’t seem to fit here.
For a book called "Young X-men", there isn’t a single young X-man on the cover. I’m looking forward to this one, if only to see if it gets better. I was not impressed with the first issue at all.

the cyclops in this series has to be a skrull all the obvious hints point to it
@xebix – it’s really not that bad. I enjoyed it. We’re obviously being set-up, but by the end of the first arc, I have a hunch that the original New Mutants will be training the newer, younger characters.
@daccampo I will give the first arc a shot and see how it goes.
OK. I take that back. Perhaps I judged it too quickly by the first issue. I didn’t really like it at all. The second issue is much better.

i really hate the roster on this team. i like rockslide, dust, and blindfold; but i need more in a team. i miss anole.
I’m giving the first arc a chance. I love the New Mutants–hate the Young X-Men. I wish that someone would kidnap Rahne from the horrible X-Force book and give the original NM’s their own book. Let’s face it, even with powers Dani rarely used them. (Is she still a valkyrie?) There is still so much potential in these characters now that they are out of their teens.
