   So this is getting a free digital copy and staying $2.99? Interesting.

   Has anybody else had trouble with a free digital copy and had to contact Marvel customer service? I tried like 3 weeks ago, and I still haven’t heard from them.

     I haven’t had any problems with my digital copies. I’m using an iPad 1 with the most recent version of iOS and the Marvel Comics app. Are you having problems with the code redemption (at the Marvel site) or with downloading (on the Marvel app)?

     I’ve had trouble with redeeming a couple codes at the marvel site. I get an error that says “We are experiencing difficulties connecting to the database” or something along those lines, but it only says that for the couple codes I’ve had trouble with and no others. I contacted Marvel support as well and have yet to hear back.

     @Gutter So turns out I had an email waiting for me today from Marvel with two new codes to download the books I was having trouble with. I had just emailed them on Saturday, so it was pretty quick for me. I would try emailing them again at onlinesupport@marvel.com with your marvel.com username, the book in question, and the code from the book that doesn’t work in the email, and tell them what error message you’re receiving. That seemed to work for me, hope that helps!

     I finally got a reply from Marvel Customer Support. It only took almost three weeks and three emails. They fixed it.

     Maybe they only answer emails on the third Tuesday of the month. Who knows?

     As for this issue. The “Free Digital Copy” doesn’t show up on the cover of the actual book.
