Goddamn, look at that cover. POLARIS!
this has been an aweosme series. i love x-men in space.
X-men…In…SPACE!
Now I have to find a drawing of Ms. Piggy as Polaris and Kermit as Havok.
Unfortunately, some misogynist prick thought it would be a good idea to put Lorna’s fucking RIBS on the cover. WHAT THE FUCK, PEOPLE!?
Love the story, but the art on this issue was less than good.
@diabhol There’s more Women’s Lib in that post than an episode of Quantum Leap and Buffy Combined!
A solid, if slightly meandering series. But at this point, I’m struggling to care about Korvus or Rachel Grey. Does she even still have a fandom? It is nice to see Yost is trying to break Lorna from the years of damage done to her by Austen and Subsequent Writers. (Well, Brubaker did, too. But she was never a focus in his stuff.) Though the random "They gave me drugs" comment felt awkward, and not in an intentional way.
Surprised more people aren’t pulling this. That said, it’s not a brilliant series, but it is entertaining. The art on issues 2 and 3 wasn’t as strongs as the art in the first issue, but it’s not bad. Probably the worst thing about it is that it seems to be just a lead-in for the War of Kings series.
