Briefly, if you like X-Men in Space, you will love this book. The characterizations of Havok and Polaris are really good, and writer Chris Yost seems to have a good handle on the Starjammers.

If War of Kings is as good as this mini, I will be more than satisfied. Although I am a bit tired of crossovers, anything that merges cosmic Marvel and the X-Men is fine with me.

    I do think that Polaris and Havok are both well-suited for cosmic adventures. I’d love to see them run into Erik the Red and Firelord again.

    I like this mini but felt this issue was the weakest of the three. Nothing really happened to move the story along. It will be interesting to see how Havok and the Starjammers escape and how issue 4 sets up War of Kings.
