  1. Anybody who read the first XMF picking this up? I never read the first volume, but have heard every review describe it as insane, ridiculously fun Claremont styled hyperbole, which sounds really entertaining. Can I jump on here or do I need to backtrack?

  2. I might pick up a hardcover collection of the first "season" if they release one.

I’d rather get a second Uncanny X-Men omnibus though.

  3. OMG  that’s all I can say.

  4. I think my favorite part was the splash page where the Avengers arrive. Claremont states "They don’t need an introducution." then he spends the next 10 cation boxes introduciing them.

    Loved Big Bushy Bearded Thor.

Also loved Cap with his classic uniform look. No overly rendered mail shirt. No seams in the masjk. No superfulous pouch belt…

I  don’t know thing one about the Avengers of this era…Was this really the team roster? I don’t remember Quicksilver being a member at this point.

  5. Much better then the Giant Size issue. Art was good, and the action was well put together. I will pick up issue 2.
