X-MEN CURSE OF MUTANTS SMOKE AND BLOOD #1

Eager to do their part in stemming the vampire invasion of San Francisco, the X-Men’s Science Team works to find a cure for vampirism. Bringing a vampire into their lab for examination, the scientists find themselves in over their heads when the monster escapes. With the lab on lockdown and a vampire on the loose, the X-Club is sure of only one thing: it’s going to take more than a doctoral degree in biochemistry to survive this night!

  1. Not 100% on this.  Will Flip through.  I did really like the other X-Club one-shot/mini/whatever it was during Second coming.

Anybody know anything about either of these creators?

  2. Is there any way we could make that title longer? Maybe "X-Men Curse of the Mutants Smoke and Blood in the Heroic Age: The Mutantocalypse. The Untold Story. Uncut and Uncensored. The Prequel."

  3. Love the X-Men Science Team!

  4. Did not like the art, nor the Wolverine Urkle impression

  5. I found the art to be interesting, really different.  I’d have to see more of it to decide if I really like it or not.

  6. Hated this issue.

  7. Couldn’t decide if the art was awful or just really different. In the end I am fairly certain it didn’t work for the story. Spurrier tried too damn hard. There were catty one liners shooting left and right, but most missed the target and just irritated. Apparently Vampres are magical and can not be expained wth science.
