I’ve given Matt Fraction a lot of crap for how inconsistently he writes the X-Men, but, man I don’t think Simon Spurrier has ever read an X-Men comic before.

If you were to see a panel in an X-Comic that said “Vampire bling.  I do declare.”  Who do you think would be saying it?  If you said Rogue, I’d understand.  Gambit?  Well, he’d probably say “ah do dehclah”, but you were close.  If you guess Wolverine, you must be psychic because it makes no damned sense, but that’s the correct answer.

This comic is a non stop series of bad one liners drawn in crayon by someone with no sense of anatomy.

Often I don’t like a comics because they just don’t work for me, but I understand they have an audience.  This comic is an all-around embarrassment to everyone involved.

  1. Yes, but is it worse than "Fallen Sun"?  Seriously, funny review.  Thanks!

  2. At least Fallen Sun was drawn well.  Plus, you know, the Sentry once took me out for pizza after I got dumped, and then threw my ex into the sun.  Dracula’s never done shit for me.
