X-MEN #3

• Can Arkea be defeated? Can the X-Men take down one of their own, if that’s what it takes?

  1. Coipel has become one of my favorites in the game right now…if only he could draw this book forever…

  2. The art is pulling me in and the story is fun. I LOVE rereading them before the newest issue!

  3. So when is this going into a crossover with the other X-titles? Cause even if this series is starting to grow on me I am not down on this going into an event so quickly after it’s debut.

    • #4 and #5 are the crossover. two issues, not so bad. supposedly the event will change the lineup of the book to some degree

  4. Enjoyed the first two issues a lot, Coipel’s art is beyond great.

  5. Last issue was so great. I love the way Coipel draws action. I really hope we see more of Beast, he’s totally the best

  6. So this story kinda ended real quickly. Not sure why Wood felt the need to rush….oh wait, the crossover that’s right. I mean I enjoyed it and I think he has a much better voice for these girls then what we saw in the first issue. That and the art by Coipel and Morales was very good. Some really nice double page spreads in this. Shame that this series is gonna get bogged with an event when it’s finally getting somewhere.

    4/5

  7. This was great, but the ending was really abrupt. We went from “Oh no! The psionic blade might kill Karima!” to “Nah, it’s cool. Everyone back in the car. Good job team!” in the span of one page. I had to go back and make sure I didn’t miss anything.

Still, great work from Wood and Coipel. I love spending time with all my X-Ladies in one place. Really enjoyable. Looking forward to seeing where this goes once we get back from the crossover hiatus.

  8. Why was everyone on the last page concerned about Rachel?

  9. skipping over the end of the fight, and then having them say “you don’t want to know what happened” was way beyond just being abrupt. It’s just ridiculous, I will probably not be buying this book because of that.
