   Sweet! I thought there was still a month to go until Valentine De Landro. Artists don’t usually bug me that much but wow was the art not working for the book for the last few months.

   I’m glad for the new penciler, but I may end up dropping this book anyway.  We’ll see how it goes.

   The new art was like a breath of fresh air.  It was wonderful to actually have recognizable characters again.  To see Jamie with his M tattoo.  Etc.   Perhaps I was influenced by the artwork, but I felt like the writing was returning back into form, as well.  We’re edging back toward the great characteriztion that was a hallmark for earlier episodes, but seemed to have gotten lost in an effort to just advance the plot.  I look forward to the next issue!

   I was ready to drop this book after the past few months of weak issues, now I’m excited for Xfactor once again.  This is a character book at heart, but it needs solid art to provide appropriate facial expressions during character interactions.  can’t wait to see whats gonna happen with the new baby…
