Im curious just how much PAD will make fun of Schism in the issue ?
After his Secret Invasion and Second Coming tie-ins, I’m betting this should get some grins.
This is such a good book month in and month out. Looking forward to seeing how PAD deals with havok and polaris joining up.
Me, too!
Much needed setup for what should be a pretty important arc. I wonder what kinds of things Wolverine needs them to do.
This was a strong issue. I could definitely read more of the just-sitting-around-office-bickering issues.
In general a very enjoyable issue but there was one panel that too me out of the story and I hate that.
The perspective and sizing of the panel when Wolverine is comforting Layla is completely wrong. Wolverine is huge and Layla is tiny. It’s instantly obvious to the eye, Its something that the editor should have sorted before the book went to inking / coloring, let alone print.
What makes it worse is that the standard of every single other panel in the book is so well done, that it’s a mystery what went wrong here.
I agree with you on that one. i think it was just a case of trying to have a perspective for the shot where Wolverine really stood out, but it kind of got away from the artist a little. But really, the art was so strong on the rest of the comic, I’m not going to let one panel that was off ruin it for me.
