I began reading comics because of Peter David’s X-Factor. It was one of the first books I collected on a regular basis in the nineties — having a special affinity for Madrox and his goofy since of humor and incredible powers… Then, years later, PAD started again — this time even better. I love this comic, and this issue has every reason why. It is one of the only X-books that is 100% character. This issue was almost completely talking heads and was incredibly compelling. The expressionistic cartooning is phenomenal, the voice of each character is unique and the madcap (yet clever) situational humor is hilarious. All of this combines to make a comic that is consistently great, which leaves me wondering why the iFanboys don’t talk about it. This seems like a book all would enjoy.
