  1. I love X-Factor, but this is why I hate solicitations and generally avoid reading them. They couldn’t give us a blank page with a “classified” statement?

Then again, this could be simple misdirection so fortunately it is easy to read it with a grain of salt.

  2. I’m sure Strong Guy is not dead. He might be down for a few issue, but not for long.
I do really love this book. One thing I really did like the last few issue, was how David didn’t make JJ Jameson seem like a crazy ranting old man, as he tends to look in Spider-man.

  3. Must. Not. Read. Solicitation. Enjoy this book too much for it to be spoiled.

  4. Btw, any one check out the new Adam WarRock ablum. He did a EP of X-factor. Go down load it. It’s awesome.

  5. Wow. Maybe Peter David did finally figure out a way to deal with issue of the stupid name and character design for Strong Guy. Put a bullet in em. I think Peter is the one who added him to the team and stuck that one note joke of a name on him twenty years ago, so if anyone is gonig to remove him, it should be him.

That said, I don’t think he will die. Too random.

  6. I was slightly confused by the end but I think I understand the implication.

  7. My LCS sold out this issue, I can’t wait to read it.

  8. Can anybody tell me if this was the last of an arc.  I want to jump on this but don’t know a good issue.  Most of the time the solicitations are so vague that I can’t tell if it’s the beginning, middle or end of an arc.

  9. This book has been written in very long arcs … year-long arcs … and Peter David is constantly picking up threads that he laid down many many moons ago. I think if you started with #215 you would probably be OK … but you could just as easily go back to #207 … or #203 … or #200 … I started reading this at the Secret Invasion tie-in in issue #33–but I ended up buying back issues all the way to the beginning.

    Others may disagree, but #215 (or even #216) is probably as good a jumping on point as any, but I’m a diehard fan of this book and promise that you won’t be disappointed if you start earlier. If it is helpful, here are the demarcation points for the trades: Vol 1 — 1-6, Vol 2 — 7-12, Vol 3 — 13-17, Vol 4 — 18-24, Vol 5 — 28-32, Vol 6 — 33-38, Vol 7 — 39-45, Vol 8 — 46-50, Vol 9 — 200-203, Vol 10 — 204-206, Vol 11 — 207-211, Vol 12 — 212-???
