I will miss this series.
I’m disapointed in this already. This will ne a ’nuff said issue. Guess Marjorie Liu was pretty butthurt about this series ending she refused to write a script for this.
You know that writers don’t just write the dialogue, right?
This was definitely competing with X-Factor, Uncanny X-Force, and Wolverine & the X-Men as my favorite. And what a way to go out with Phil Noto on art!
I dig that cover.
I’ll be sorry to see this series go.
I wish Marjorie Liu the best of luck with her future endeavors.

Glad this lasted as long as it did.
This series is a perfect example of how the right creative team can draw a reader in and keep them even though they don’t have much invested in the character. I wouldn’t have thought that I’d really like an X-23 book, but Liu and Noto (and most of the other artists who have been on the series) have been phenomenal.
I don’t think I could hate this last issue anymore than I do. This didn’t wrap the series naturally, the lack of script hurt and i feel left with 0 closure.
This coming from a HUGE marjorie liu and x-23 fanboy.
I hope one day marvel will learn to market a female lead and not give up on a good thing.
I didn’t like this last issue either; it’s too bad as this was one of my favorite titles coming from any company so I’m still sad to see it go.
Again, dialogue and script are not interchangeable terms…

Was there supposed to be closure here? I spent $2.99 on a silent issue that in no way had anything to do with the last issue or hinted at what was to come for Laura. That’s a downright dirty way to steal $3. Shame on you Marvel.
How many “silent” issues have you ever purchased? The way this issue conveyed Laura’s struggle was fantastic. I think you should go through the issue again and you should find a few hints as to her future. I felt it conveyed closer (given dialogue would have made that closure a little more specific) and I love it when silent a issue pulls it off.
Havent really followed this last year and didnt pick up this last issue. Is X-23 showing up somewhere else? i.e. if I pick up Avengers Academy will I be able to follow her?
She is a part of the avengers academy, but she doesn’t appear to be a very important character.
