  1. I’m glad that it sounds like Rachel is going to have a bigger part to play, and who do we think Beast is going to see at SWORD? Maybe Unit?

  2. Had been planning on dropping this, but the last issue was enjoyable and the return of the Hellfire Club has ensured I’ll stick about for a bit longer.

    • Yeah, I have high hopes for this. The last six months’ worth of issues have not thrilled me, but I used to really like this series a lot. With Ferry and then Bradshaw coming back on art, I plan and hope to be digging Aaron’s storyline again.

  3. JML (@twitter.com/JoshMLabelle) says:

Goddamnit, I was gonna drop this if this issue wasn’t good and then it went and had pick of the week quality.

  4. This is really starting to get back on track

  5. Finally a great issue it’s been a long long time

  6. Am I the only one who got halfway through this issue and thought “Holy Crap, Aaron is working to bring Nightcrawler back!”?

    • I got the same kind of inkling, but quickly tamped it down so my soul will feel no pain when it doesn’t actually happen.

…but those Bamfs are up to something.

    • I’m convinced. Jason Aaron is the perfect writer to bring back Kurt and actually be able to do something fun with him.

If we all believe and clap our hands we can make it happen. Isn’t that how it works?

    • The more I think about this, the more I want it to happen. I’ve never been the biggest fan of X-Men stories that deal with Hell/Limbo/demons/magic, but I really think Nightcrawler’s voice would be a really nice addition to the current X-Men environment, so if that’s what it takes, let’s make it happen!

I still feel like Wolverine might be due for a huge fall from grace, so Kurt would be a natural choice to replace him as headmaster at the school.

    • Please don’t play with my emotions like that.

    • I didn’t have time to pick up my comics this week yet, but if there’s even a hint of Nightcrawler coming back, I’ll definitely get this issue. The X-titles are always missing a little something when Kurt isn’t involved, even when the X-titles are as across the board good as they are now.

  7. Really glad were out of the Savage Land…. love the Beast being redesigned as an ape instead of the Disney’s Beauty and the Beast cat. love the art. Can’t wait to see what this Hellfire saga will bring us.
