Wolverine and The X-Men continues the recent trend in comics of convincing me that Jason Aaron can write literally any character. He has the voice down for every single character in this book, and it’s kind of incredible, from Kitty to Quentin, all the way to that crazy space-zoologist guy, each and every character sounds unique and interesting, but that sort of goes without saying. Of course Jason Aaron is writing a good comic book, it’s kind of his thing. The art on this issue is…well…it certainly isn’t bad by any means, but I think I’ve been spoiled on this book by having Bachalo, Bradshaw, and Perez all doing arcs throughout the run. While this art wasn’t bad it just wasn’t stunning. Now I’m no 100% sure but I believe there were 3 artists listed, I’m not sure how many were pencillers and how many were inkers, but multiple of either one usually does not bode well, particularly if the art is “just OK.”

Story: 5 - Excellent
Art: 3 - Good
