  1. wHoo!!!!!!

     Bloody Conclusion!

  2. Is Jason Aaron done after this issue? I hope not.

  3. @Rofo – Yep.  Mark Millar and Steve McNiven take over next month.

  4. Ugh, I’ve had enough Millar. More McNiven. Less Millar.  It’s a shame that everytime Wolverine’s book gets in a groove, first with Guggenheim now with Aaron, that some "superstar" writer comes in and throws it off course again.  I’ve got zero interest in a story about an old Wolverine. It’s been done to death.

  5. Isn’t Aaron coming back after Millar wraps up?  Or did I just make that up…?

  6. I hope Aaron comes back…he is my golden boy right now. I haven’t read a bad thing from him yet. Did I read that he is Marvel exclusive now or just make that up?

  7. I have liked this book, but it seems to have been stretched to one or two extra issues. And I’m just guessing here, but I am not expecting any serious percussions for Mystique (let alone, death).

  8. I don’t think Marvel’s made any announcement about who’s around after Millar’s run. Isn’t his run 12 issue long?

  9. I’m pretty sure he has a Marvel exclusive now, with the exclusion of his Scalped series.

  10. Has this book ever had a steady writer and/or artist. I’ve only read it since Civil War and after every arc they change creative teams. Has there not been anyone who’s wanted to stay on this book long term?

  11. @Top Gun: Ennis has been writing Punisher for quite a few years. I believe this is the 2nd or 3rd volume that he has done with each volume spanning many issues. I want to say Ennis has been writing Punisher since about 2001. His first 12 issue arc was drawn by Steve Dillon. He has also written a few great spin offs such as Punisher Born and Barracuda as well as many one-shots. It is all great stuff. So to answer your question the writer has been very steady for the past 7 years or so but the art has been a little less consistent.

  12. I did not like the ending of this story.  We spent the whole time with Wolverine stating he was going to kill her, then when he can, he just doesn’t. No real reason not to. He just doesn’t do it.  Extremely weak finish.

  13. WOOPS…thought this was the Punisher thread not Wolverine…my bad…sorry TopGun and everyone.
