Wasn’t too wowed by the previews since the character doesn’t do too much for me… but what the hell, yeh?
The original title of this series was actually "To Paul With Love: Monthly"
I’d give a lot if Mignola would draw a book.
@conor – Agreed. Mignola’s Gotham by Gaslight was one of my favorite Elseworld tells. His art was beautiful.
What the hell happened to Hellboy: The Wild Hunt? Issue 4 was in MARCH!! It’s supposed to be an 8 issue series.
@stulach – They had a built in hiatus. It was planned as being broken into two chunks. It’s back in August (just in time for my birthday!)

BUT just imagine the feel of that signed copy of Witchfinder #1 in your hands.
If he did commissions, this would be a much different conversation.
Also, I don’t want to slight Stenbeck. He’s holding his own in that preview. I’d like to see Mignola do more interiors too, but he’s working with some great artists these days.
@Paul – I agree. Mr. Mignola has been picking some excellent artists to work with. I loved the art (by Richard Corben) in The Crooked Man.

I was really looking forward to this, but my shop didn’t get it.
Can anyone tell me when you get your books when you order from DCBS.com? I don’t want to get my books on Friday and then miss out on all this discussion.

I loved it, gave it a 5. But this was just the start of the adventure. Maybe i’ll do a little write-up in the morning.

fun book. art seemed mignola-ish at times so while I miss mignola’s art, this was a very suitable substitute.

Excited to pick this up after work since I was unable to get to my LCS last week (mom in town). Coupled with BPRD coming out this week, it’s a great week to be a Mignola fan!
