Really enjoying this comic so far and don’t see that stopping even though Remender is easing off before leaving for good. Not read any Bunn stuff before he jumped aboard this, but he’s done a sterling job so far.
I’m not a huge Venom fan but Remender has kept me along for a great ride thus far. I’m not sure if Bunn can keep me reading a character I’m not that into in the first place but I’ll give him a shot. I’m rooting for you Bunn, keep giving me great stories and I’ll stick around!
As a side note has there been any hints at what Remender will pick up after he leaves Venom?
I’ve not read anything about any new titles, but with AvX “altering the Universe” or whatever, it might be a good bet he gets put on a big title I reckon. His stock seems quite high at the mo at Marvel, justifiably so too.
I curious to see what, “altering the Universe” will look like in marvel. I hope they have a major (non-reboot) change to get excited about. They should mix up a bunch of writers and give Jason Aaron, Remender, Bendis, Hickman and Brubaker all something new to play with.
Man… I wish they would go back to an artist that matches the tone of the book more. Moore was great, Fowler was good, Walker was great, Medina’s artwork is too ‘clean’ for this comic. (in my opinion)
It’s quite the tease to keep getting Tony Moore covers and then opening the comic to see Lan Medina artwork…
I just read the comic, I take it back, the art was excellent. I think they switched up colorists or something, because it was Medina but also a lot grittier. Also, FANTASTIC issue.
Great issue, will be sad when Remender leaves.
From what I understand, Bunn is doing a good chunk of the work already.

Jesus Christ… This may be my favorite book coming out right now. Just, holy shit.
What a fantastic issue! That was just non-stop action throughout the book, so so good. Dark as hell too!
