  1. Lets see how Cyclops can screw everyone over again with his fine leadership skills… Cyclops is really starting to bother me, I heard he was a little b#tch whinner but I never thought he was this bad?! Right now I am on the bubble for this title and Wolvie and Xman and only one can stay on my pull list due to the ever tightning budget.

  2. Kieron, If you’re seeing this, do something about Greg Land. I mean, jesus christ, he’s terrible. please

  3. I really need to get a bigger discount to continue buying this.

    Subscription Department!

  4. I’m close to making a choice between this and Wolverine and The X-Men. So far, Team Logan has a huge lead. I pulled this, but I’m actually waiting to look through it at the shop to decide whether or not it’s coming home with me.

  5. I love how interconnected X-Force, Uncanny and Wolverine are right now. Exploring Tabula Rasa this soon after Remender’s epic is great. My excitement for where this series has been going super cedes my Greg Land distaste… unless I start spotting stock poses, that’ll ruin it all right quick.

The Phalanx issue was awesome too.

  6. This book was better when Kitty Pryde was in it.

  7. What a whiny bunch of bitch-ass comments.

    • excuse me? LOOK AT THE GODDAMN COVER. PSYLOCKE & STORM ARE TRACED FROM A FUCKING PORNO.

Land’s ass need to gtfo of comics. seriously.

“hey, i’m psylocke, i just got knocked the fuck out, let me make an orgasm smile.”

    • Seriously. From the looks on Psylocke and Storm’s faces, the Immortal Man must have an orgamsm ray gun.

      To quote Josh, “Fucking Garbage.”

  8. How long is Greg Land on this title? Is he alternating between arcs?

  9. What´s the problem whit Land´s art? I dont get it there are MUCH worst outthere

    • A lot of people take exception to his heavy use of photo reference (to the point that it’s known as photo tracing). I don’t want to judge (because I don’t know if photo tracing is all that easy), but it’s generally viewed as a hack thing to do.

Historically, Land has been shown to use porn as reference, and even reuses his own work (a pose of Storm in one book is reused for a pose of Sue Storm in another book, for example). This heavy reference creates some inconsistency in the look of a character from panel-to-panel (hairstyles change, facial expressions seem inappropriate to the story).

That said, I think a lot of people haven’t been looking past the covers of his recent work. He’s not even close to being my favorite artist, but I think he’s definitely toned down the amount of photo tracing in these recent issues of Uncanny X-Men. The work itself appears sketchier, and some of the more impressive panels are of subjects that he couldn’t possibly have traced.

    • “I don’t want to judge (because I don’t know if photo tracing is all that easy)”

Its pretty damn easy. I used to do it all the time back in my HS art class.

    • Did he trace the immortal man too?? I seem to remember some dude in armor like that deepthroating some chick in the last porn i watched. Oh wait a minute that never happened. Its amazing the amount of negativity thats accepted on this site as long as it falls in line with one of the staff’s opinions. Fact of the matter is there is much worse art than this.

  10. I’m really digging this arc despite the Landness. Uncanny is hitting it’s stride!

  11. I finally read this a week later and it really does not matter, did not miss anything really. This title just seems to be confused on where it wants to go. Oh well………
