My current subscription ends soon.
This will be my last arc or so of buying this.
Probably gonna be my last issue, just not been feeling it. I even re-read #1-4 the other day & it’s a bit mehhhhhhhhhhhh!
hope this gets better
I haven’t been reading this (or any other X book for that matter) but these covers have been very tempting.
I’m reading this to get my Storm fix. Looks like X-men may get that for me.
Last issue was a bit of a let-down, advertised as it was as the conclusion of the story arc, but this book’s swagger, combinded with the return of Alphona, keep my excitement levels high.
This was an upswing. I’ll stick around for another couple issues, I expect, but I am not overly impressed yet.
I can sum this issue up in 1 word: Contrived.
Most enjoyable issue yet, and I looooved the art work.
Big time fun. Time travel, psychic monsters, twisted mindscapes AND a drunken dwarf?
Soy was great, Alphona was inspired, and this book was baller, as usual.
Rally enjoyed this issue. My pull list is in need of some clean up and i thought this issue would be my last for the series but it really redeemed itself with a fun psychic trip, some nice dreamy art, and a giant bear fight
I’m not sure whether or not I like this series. It feels like it’s just on the verge of being awesome yet always falls flat in practice. I’ll give it another issue to finally see what he does with the Fantomex triplets but I’m quickly losing interest. And now Wood’s X-Men is out and already seems way better (plus it has a couple of the same lead characters).
