  1. Last issue was amazing. Can’t wait to see where they go from here.

  2. Very excited for this next issue. Before reading this series, I thought for sure I wouldn’t be interested but I have been pleasantly surprised. Esad Ribic’s art is so good.

    • Me too! It doesn’t seem like a book for me, but I really like the way Hickman has been pacing the book, and Dean White’s colors make Ribic’s work look better. Can’t wait for this!

  3. I love Ribic’s work. In this series, so far, his art isn’t the best I’ve ever seen it, but it still justifies the buy.

  4. Can’t wait for this, the last issue blew my mind!

  5. This series is huge and fun! It’d be cool if they did even more ‘side’ books like Ultimate Hawkeye while this book was going on. So cool to see a specific mission in Hawkeye and get a more global view in this book. Great concept and well executed!

    • I read the first issue of Hawkeye and couldn’t get into it. I think it was the artwork that just bothered me. I was really hoping it would draw me in as a companion to Ultimates. Oh well, hopefully they will have some more “side” books.

    • That’s too bad! I’m actually really digging the art in Hawkeye, pretty cool story too.

  6. why is Iron Man flexing the abs part of his suit on that cover?

  7. Holy crap that was incredible! This is quickly rising to the top of my stack in terms of excitement every month! Everything thing feels grand and epic in terms of scale and so much shit is going down I feel like literally anything can happen and no character is safe. Jonathan Hickman has breathed new life into this universe. SOOO awesome!

    • It’s kinda early to tell but this also has a HIGH probability of being my POTW. It certainly was a 5/5. Have to see what DC has to offer come 2pm when they release their digital offerings. It’s a good time to be a comic reader.

  8. This is the best the Ultimates have been since Millar was writing. Another few issues of this and it will be the best it’s ever been.

  9. yeah, this was a bit silly
