  1. Get ready to be annoyed, angry, cheated and frustrated!! It’s another ultimate event!!!

  2. Yeah but this time it’s Bendis and if there’s one thing you can’t argue is he writes the Ultimate universe very well. at least he’s never made me feel angry or cheated in regards to this universe

  3. Should I get this? I’m reading Ultimate Spider-Man and loving that. ANd seeing as how 5 of the characters starring in USM are on that cover, I think maybe I should? What do you think?

  4. I’m getting it for the same reason you are, and also cause i love bendis writing the ultimate FF

  5. I might just flip threw this at the store just to see who the ‘ultimate enemy’ is.

But who is left to really make he/she the ultimate one?

  6. why do i get the feeling that this is going to get preachey and the face of true evil in the Ultimate Universe will be heroes themsheves or of coruse knowing bendis it could just be nick fury

  7. @Roi: nah, everything bendis has written in the ultimate universe besides spiderman has been pretty average.

ultimate origin, anyone? poop on a stick

  8. So…is this where ultimate Rick jones is actually used? (he appeared in ultimate origin and was supposed to appear in ultimatum but…yknow, didn’t)

  9. Stupid title but should be good. Got the Bendis fairy dust and everything.

  10. @edward  hey i did say he’s never made me feel angry or cheated, "me" being the key word. i liked ultimate origin and everything else bendis wrote in the ultimate U

  11. @Roi: i hate to tell you this but you didn’t actually like the things you said you liked and your personal opinion is wrong. sorry

  12. What’s the mystery? It’s gotta be Doom. Doom is the ultimate enemy, as he is the ultimate opponent. In any universe.

  13. Is the ultimate enemy jeph loeb?

  14. @edward  lol, that almost made me spit out my morning cup of coffee (or cup of gentleman’s brown if you want)

  15. @23skidoo scroll to the top of the page

  16. "gentleman’s brown" that sounds like a filthy victorian era sexual act

  17. rick remender started saying it on twitter as an alternate name for coffee a few months ago. at least i think it was remender. either him or hickman

  18. I think i like the idea of victorian era sexual acts better

What are some other victorian era sexual acts?

How about ‘Squire’s dip’ or ‘cumbpets and fiddle’ i just thought of those

  19. This was fun… a little too much padding, but some nice characterization. Is there more of a disparity in Sue and Reed’s ages in the Ultimate U than I recall? He was drawn like he was 12. Good stuff, really strong art, though which saved the issue. Thing in the army uniform was nice, too. 4/5, lesser art would have left this as a 3.

  20. Anybody else get a page that was half blue tinted? Printing error or intentional?

  21. Wow, the excitement in the Ultimate Marvel Universe is here to stay!

  22. @vadamowens

23skidoo was making a (very funny) joke.

  23. I think Jeph Loeb ruined the Ultimate Universe for me…

  24. This felt like those early Ultimate comics. Like early Ult. Spider-Man and FF. And the art was awesome. I’d rather have Sandoval on Ult. Spider-Man, and aside from a wierd blue tint on one page, the colors were awesome too. I love this.

  25. Loved this made is my POW.  This felt like Ult. comics of old but Bendis dealing with unanswered questions left by the Requiems & Ultimatum. Bendis & Millar should write all Ult. books
