  1. Jazz’s movie action figure by Hasbro Toys is really hard to find after the Decepticon Leader Megatron tore him apart in two now this humble Autobot Special Operations Agent is going up against the most savage warriors of the Decepticons the Predacons and their combined alter ego Predaking.

  2. "Transformers Spotlight – JAZZ" was my pick of the week because it was an all around great comic. First off, EJ Su on art. I have been a huge fan of his almost-real tech art style since "Tech Jacket". The story by Reyk, a slice of life tale,  fits in perfectly with the ongoing "All Hail megatron". The Autobots are fighting cabin fever as their exile on Cybertron continues. Tempers flare as Cliffjumper and Bumblebee (my favorite Autobot) bicker about their situation. Skids calms them down by relating a tale of the time he was ambushed by Deceptions during his first combat mission. Alone, damaged and nearly off-line, Skids is rescued by a fellow Autobot who he cannot recognize (his ‘eyes’ are severly damaged). It is, of course, Jazz. The characterization of Jazz is very much like the cartoon character we all know and love, while at the same time keeping his manner in line with "All Hail Megatron".  Jazz is being pursued by the Predacons, who we come to know as bad-asses among the ‘Cons. Jazz is no slouch either, as he effortlessly comes up with a plan to save their metallic backsides. Skids loses it when he hears who’s following them. As the tale continues, we see Skids has the attention of the entire roster as he relates the words that Jazz used to bolster his flagging spirit. Skids finds his inner hero and they take out the Predacons. The story ends with Jazz asking Prowl if Skids is telling that story of the "super Autobot" who reascued him again, then goes inside and thanks Skids for using his words to keep the rest of the team going, all the while wearing a knowing smile on his face.  All in all, a sloid read and a solid issue. The "Spotlight" series continues to impress me!!
