  1. Aaaaaaaand… I’m out. Sad to say, but this book just doesn’t do it for me any more.

Oh, how I wish it weren’t true.

  2. Lemme know when the Fear Itself tie-in nonsense is over, then I’ll hop back on.

  3. I suppose I’ll try one more issue. The last issue was really good, but I don’t know if that one issue is going to make this whole series for me. Probably stepping out for a while until Fear Itself ends.

  4. Once the Underbolts came in this series started to pick up for me, I am still in.

  5. Declan Shalvey is SO GOOD, you guys.

  6. I’m with Avistann. But this book has still been good to me, it just this damn tie that’s dragging the quality of the story down. I don’t blame Parker for it, just the editors.

  7. Still one of the best series from Marvel. No doubt I’m still on.

  8. I am very much still into this book. The last issue where Ghost enters into Juggernauts mind is awesome. Not a huge fan of fear itself but I think this book is still awesome.

  9. Agreed.  I’m looking forward to Fear Itself ending.

  10. Once this can get past the Fear Itself dud, I think it could be back to where it is. My excitement for Shocker on the team has been tempered by his team mates and virtually extinguished by their arc so far.

  11. I’ve been enjoying this series except for the anthology issue which wasn’t a good idea really. But the art by Shalvey last time was fucking amazing.

  12. I wish Fear Itself tie-ins were one shots and didn’t effect the regular book. Fear Itself has been so not worth the hype, I wish it didn’t spread it’s boring to other books.

  13. @gkb444  ‘…spread it’s boring…’ HAHAHAHA. So true.

  14. I really enjoyed the chaos in this issue. Jeff Parker juggled a crap load of characters and situations in this and it read pretty well. Declan Shalvey’s art keeps it all in check too and I was happy to see the page where the missle is dropping into the lake. Good stuff there. Also, the more Kaiju monsters the better.

Also, also, I loved the ending here and it made me laugh. Walker just going ‘Okay Then’ felt like a nice way to end the issue.

    5/5 (POTW)

  15. I am not digging Daclan, i want Kev back.

  16. The story was cool, although I think there’s too many characters at the moment.  Not enough time spent with anyone in particular.  Found the art to be really poor.  The layouts were great, led the eye well and were pretty interesting.  However, the art itself wasn’t for me at all.  Characters regularly had dots for eyes and in some panels characters were half drawn with out legs (see page 7).  I appreciate that this could just be the artists style, but it really took me out of the story and didn’t seem to fit the tone of the book.
