The T-Bolts leap into HULK’s “Scorched Earth”! At the request of Steve Rogers, Luke Cage must take his hardened team to deal with a doomsday scenario unleashed in the pages of HULK! And now that the squad is a man short, Cage finally uses his power to recruit another prisoner to duty – and his pick will shock you! Will the Thunderbolts accept this new member as a part of their force? Or will this heavy duty wild card destroy the balance of power? 1. I don’t question my love of Jeff Parker anymore. I have accepted it.

  2. He is a very talented man. I’m half tempted to subscribe to the issues since the first trade felt like such a ripoff (13 bucks for 4 issues).

  3. I’m actually going to try the Hulk.1 book based on how much I enjoy I like Parker’s writing here.

  4. @cubsmodano The last issue of the Hulk was forced on me by a friend and I was very glad they did.

  5. Jeff Parker is the best in the business right now. And that’s saying a hell of a lot considering Hickman, Snyder, Remender, Cornell, Morrison, Bendis, etc. Jesus, what a great time to be into comics

  6. Does anyone know if Crossbones is done in this Book, he is one of my favs, and was really liking him on the t-bolts?

  7. Curious to know more about this Hyperion since I’ve never read a story with him in it.

  8. @jmack yeah it’s looking like Crossbones is booted off permanently. I really liked him on the team too, but as long as Jeff Parker is writing and Kev Walker (or Declan Shelvey) are on art, this title is going to continue to be the BOMB!

  9. bjbancroft couldnt agree more definitely @ top 5 title at marvel.

  10. Kaiju Big Battle! In all it’s glory by Kev Walker. Gorgeous looking issue.

    4.5/5

  11. How good was that monster spread!?

  12. Man, Marvel killed it with art this week (ignoring Avengers titles).  Also, Hyperion was totally pulling the Omni-Man routine.

  13. @ResurrectionFlan  When i turned that page i actualy said “motherfuck” outloud to abosolutely no one. amazing

  14. Anything with a Superman archetype gets knocked down a star but A fun issue.

My money’s on Ghost to save the day again.

  15. @RoiVampire  Juggernaut ramping up his speed also made me chuckle. GO BABY GO!

  16. I’m curious is to how Man-Thing is going to save the day. That’s the hint I got right at the end with Hyperion about to attack it.

  17. This book needs more love.

  18. After this week I am seriously considering dropping all the Avengers titles (except Academy) and pick this up instead. I’ve been picking this up off and on and have never been disappointed. And the price is right.

  19. Just goes to show what a joke the “Architects” of Marvel thing is… their best writers (Parker, Abnett and Lanning, Gage, Peter David, etc.) get no promotion, instead the mediocre mass appeal crap gets the marketing push.

    (Although Hickman is phenominal)

  20. @cubsmodano  I am just glad Hickman got a chance to write FF because had he not gotten the shot to do the first family, then he would not get any promotions either.

Parker needs to get a bigger book, maybe Avengers. But that’s not going to happen while BMB hogs Avengers to himself.
