  1. First issue was pretty good. But I am keeping Kirkman’s side projects on a short leash. I got hosed with The Infinite.

    • I didn’t fall for the Infinite. I read the reviews beforehand. This is a good book though.

    • The weird thing about Kirkman is he can write some really great stuff, but he also writes some stuff that just blows. It’s weird how he can be so inconsistent.

I will never see this book at my store anyway it doesn’t really matter either way.

  2. I’m with you there…

  3. I’m really looking forward to this last issue was agreat start I thought

  4. So what happens with The Infinite now? The story just goes unfinished and anyone that bought it gets ripped off of an ending? By the way I read an advance of issue #2 of Thief of Thieves and it’s as good as issue #1.

    • Re: The ending of The Infinite. Yeah, that’s kind of the risk you take following any kind of serialized story. While I can understand how you might feel ripped off, you never (and couldn’t have) paid for a complete story. C’est la comics!

    • He is still working on the Infinite vacation. I believe #4 is out March 21st and he is working on #5

    • @Tuff_Ghost that is a completely different book done by completely different people.

  5. Not sure yet if I like this as much as I thought I would when I pre-ordered. I love Nick Spencer on Morning Glories, but haven’t read anything else by him, except for this now. Will give it a couple more issues to see if it grows on me.

  6. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the next issue. Reads like an action movie and is not all hard billed and gritty but is more fun, which is what i am looking for.

And I just wrote the worst written sentence ever. 🙂

  7. I’m really thankful that Image is doing a great job at getting the 2nd printings of first issues out just in time for the second issues! I cannot wait to read two issues back to back.

  8. Finally got around to reading this and issue 1 (again) back to back. It’s great. I don’t know why I didn’t like it so much on first read.
