LOVING this series. My top book from Marvel this week.
I’m still not sure about this series, the idea of the Punisher being kind of a secondary character is interesting, and Rucka’s execution is definitely top notch, it’s just I don’t know if that’s what I want a Punisher comic I buy to be. I’m on for this arc, but if it continues into the next, I may go, as I can’t see Rucka maintaining this for years and years. Part of me so wants the War Journal entries to return, especially with Rucka writing.
This and DAREDEVIL are the only two Marvel books on my list and they are booth awesome.
I’m really interested in what is going to happen in this book.
I’m torn on this book. So far, I’ve enjoyed it, but with all the new 52 coming out this week, I may need to cut back on some, and it sure as hell isn’t going to be Wolverine 15 or Debt of Death.
Never been a Punisher fan, but I am loving the hell out of it. I kind of like the Punisher as just a silent force of nature.
Totally agree.
This reminds me of the cover of Amazing Spiderman #2 with The Vulture. I never read any other Punisher book except for the Ennis series. So far so good. Hell, I knew it would be good based on the Rucka’s Pedigree, and on top of that he’s from San Jose? Can’t go wrong there. To all you fence straddlers, cheap skates, and over analyzers; it’s just a comic book. Buy it and STFU!
You are my favorite poster. I think all your comments should be rounded up and put into a column all their own.
Thanks diebenny, cheers! My formula is to not be afraid to say what I feel -then, tone it down about half the time.
This is definitely one of my favorite Marvel books right now. I’m thinking a close third place. It’s hard to beat Uncanny X-Force and Venom.
a fast read. action packed, though. that fight was intense. the kill was gruesome. i like where this is going. im new to checchetto, but i dig his style. this punisher seems to have a fresh look about him. make mine rucka!
Pretty cool issue. Curious about what’s going to happen with the bride. She-Punisher? Punisherette?
