  1. Good riddance to that ridculous Iron Phoenix story!

  2. They way they superimposed a new female lead over the old, I’m surprised Greg Land didn’t draw this.

  3. dropped this and avengers, maybe i will pick it up again in October

  4. Continuing subscription.

Taking a hiatus from reading certain titles, starting at AvX; still need to read the FI main event book itself.

Will catch up on reading this fall/winter at relaunch.

  5. Does anyone know why they changed the cover of this from having Mockingbird to now having Spider-Woman?

  6. What a great single issue story that really sets up the X-Men as villains.

This is my favorite AvX issue tie-in. Even though the twist has been used numerous times, I still loved this. 5/5

This defied my expectations. I thought I wanted more Kung-Fu tales, but this story starring Clint Barton, Jessica Drew, and Luke Cage was a Marvel masterpiece. The lowest level of Utopia, where the X-Men are holding the New Avengers, is a shadowy, controversial place, but I don’t think it’s evil.

  8. Damn, the X-Men are playing dirty. This was a pretty excellent issue.

  9. Loved New Avengers #28. What is being done to these guys is unforgivable. It doesnt matter what the X-Men say, there is nothing suggesting the Avengers would treat them that way should the situation be the opposite. Very nice story… for once, the tip of the hat to you mr. Bendis.

  10. spoiler alert.

the entire time i was wondering how low tech some of the jail cells looked, why are they not using robot girl, like they should of reversed hawkeye’s cell with luke cage’s cell. luckily its just how dangerous hawkeye views himself. nich touch by the writer. glad the xmen’s jailer was running the avengers through a mind treadmill,
