  1. I am really enjoying everything about this book at the moment, great art & a top notch storyline.
Be interesting to see who the new Iron Man’ll be?!

  2. I think I’m gonna jump on the Iron Man train for a sec. Love the design of the new armor, and I can’t resist a “new guy takes over” storyline. Always fun.

  3. Tony Stark is retiring? I know we’re all cynical and know he will be back in 6 months but shouldn’t this be a bigger deal?

    • Not really, it’s all part of a ruse so making it a big deal would kind of be weird. Readers of the book know that Tony has something up his sleeve

  4. Fraction’s run on this title has been very good.

Hoping this keeps up the high standard.

    • Couldn’t agree with you more, I think this next storyline could go one way or the other, but I know that I’ll still be plodding along getting this! (that sounded a little sad, didn’t it)

    • I buy this in issues but read it in trades, so I’m a bit behind.

I just finished My Monsters (Vol. 7) and Unfixable (Vol. 8).

A year behind on issues, but up-to-date on trades.

Volume 9 already on order with the public library.

Subscription issues safely tucked away in the “Old” New short box.

  5. No more Iron Man? In the middle of an Avengers event, I don’t think so. With all of the movie hype this simply can’t happen.

  6. Was about to start picking up this. Should I pick of the one before this? Since this is a part 2.

  7. Very interesting. I’m diving in the middle and I like it. I’ll definitely be back next issue.

  8. Okay. Who was in the armor on the last page? I swear everyone looks the same in this book.

    • I think it was

      Rhodey.

    • I think you may be right, I was thinking that but thought don’t put it online, so you did it for me!

    • To counter my own comment, just read the preview for #521 & it states that the new Iron Man teams-up with War Machine.

So is there gonna be a new War Machine, then?
If so who is the new Iron Man?

Maybe it’s Tony. He did quit as Iron Man. Maybe he’ll be the new War Machine, if Rhodey is Iron Man.

  9. So far this book has not disappointed. I have been following this book for about three years now and I am constantly impressed with the art and the story. Tony retiring was inevitable, you could see that he was backed into a corner, they were setting this up a couple of years ago. The buildup on the book has been done very well, not like the other books where there is a weaker story then a huge arch that lasts for about a year. Smaller steps with twists and turns in it make for a satisfying read month to month.
