  1. I wasn’t crazy about the last issue…anyone have a feel for this one? Might wait until I hear some reviews.

  2. Can’t be as bad as last issue. I don’t think it’s physically possible.

  3. Hulk is one of my favorite characters, but this might be what makes me drop this..”i like the red one better anyway”

  4. At least this one won’t have Steve Dillon art. When Hulk and Frank Castle have the exact same facial features, it’s hard to focus on the story.

  5. I really like the concept of Banner sabotaging Hulk every time he drifts off to sleep. I think Peter David did the reverse of this story years ago with Grey Hulk, but psychotic banner doing it to the Hulk is really cool. I really like Steve Dillon, but I am not sure if the Hulk is the place for him… But let’s face it, anything is better than what happened to the art in that first arc. Holy crud, that art fell apart so spectacularly it nuked the story to smithereens. I’ll take weird Dillon over rushed Portacio every day of the week.

  6. The covers are incredible (no pun)!

  7. The CBR preview’s art looked better than the awful crap that was last months issue but not by much. I think I’m going to sit out this arc. Someone tell Jason Aaron its not his fault for me. 😉 I love his writing but can’t stand the art.

  8. Yeah, I love the hulk, but this isn’t doing it for me. I’ll have to pick up last weeks red hulk issue

  9. I really want this book to be good. I like the Red Hulk well enough, but ol’ Greenie has a special place in my heart. Green should be better than Red, IMHO. Besides, have you ever noticed how much red is in the Marvel U? When you see a big group of characters together, the amount of red is overwhelming sometimes.

  10. I wish the art inside was half as good as the cover art…

    • Thanks for saying that Mathewsr75! Hulk is bald, looks like a green smurf. Its just stupid! Theres no vein definition, its so far from a hulk that you’d say he was just a oversized man! I haven’t read it since the big explosion, just sits on my pile. I so want to get into this but with the amazing art in HULK if I had to choose it would be the Red one, sadly.

      Grow some hair, really!

    • I’ve read every book of the series I was going to drop the series as of 7.1 and I found myself enjoying it immensely despite the art. I actually had a hearty laugh out loud moment. Issue 8 was a mess writing and art IMO, I pray this ones better.

I would love it if marvel stopped putting out 2x’s per month on many books and using fill in artists or 2 artists per book and they started concentrating on a higher quality product. I guess I gotta speak with my money though and stop picking up a lot of thier books..

  11. Is it just me or is this book getting silly? Ugh. I thought the art was pretty enough, the only thing sort of out of place was Hulk himself.

  12. What happened???? I have always liked the Hulk character, but never really found a good jumping on point or writer that brought me to the comic on a monthly basis until I read Inc. Hulk # 1 by Jason Aaron. I read the first 7 issues and was actually excited and enjoyed the story and art very much. Then I read issue 7.1 and was like “Oh No” Marvel is screwing this up which they did with this issue and the following issues after that. I’m not sure what happened , but I definitly won’t be back for anymore issues. The story was terrible and the art was awful. Way to go Marvel.

  13. I am off the book untill they get a better writer for the book. Aaron can be hit or miss for me, I love his Woverine & the X-men but he totally missed it on the Inc. Hulk for me. I have been reading Inc.Hulk non-stop since Peter David and Aaron has made me give up on it untill the next writer. And the artwork for this series isn’t even worth mentioning.
