Agreed. Super weird, as the Defenders should be.
The weirder the better. That’s what I look for in comics.
This was the book Fraction was born to write at Marvel. It fits his style and his sense of humor and love of weirdness all at once
Yeah it’s been a really decent series so far. You know I originally was interested for the Dodson art but you know I don’t think that really fits the series. Although the new upcoming regular artist looks great again I’m not sure it fits the series.
You know as CaseyJustice said above, it is a weird comic…..perhaps if they went with a “quirkier” artist….Maybe like the artist from last issue.
I was looking forward to a nice run by Dodson, but the last issue and this one with Breitweiser is certainly something to look forward to.
I don’t think this was Dodson at his finest. The covers have been nice, but some of the interior artwork was seriously lacking.
I really wish this could be a LoExG Nemo they were talking about…
Decent issue…..Anyone else think some of the transitions in the story were a little confusing. A couple of times I had to check to make sure I didn’t miss any pages.
they were confusing for me too, I had to re-read several panels because I thought I had missed something.
Has anyone decoded the runic messages in the page gutters? They look like Tolkien runes; when I get home from work I’ll pull check my copy of the Hobbit to verify.
