  1. Sepulveda does great stuff on this series; wasn’t sure how the good guys survived their encounter with the Cancerverse Avengers.

  2. @Franktiger: They kicked the crap out of em, then Thanos killed them

  3. Why is Thanos so damn big? It looks stupid.

  4. Isn’t it because he is just really big?

I am loving this book. long live DnA! I hope that they bring back the cosmic books after this event. I think I may cry if they don’t.

ALso wtf is Nova doing in secret avengers? I know Brubaker is supposed to be great, but i never got it and I get it even less now. I hope Nova getting on an avengers team does not mean the end of his cosmic book.

Oh, this turned into a mini rant. Sorry about that. Actually, screw that! I have legitimate concerns!

  5. Nova’s a Living Rocket…he’s fast enough to be in two books a month. Wolverine’s in every book and he’s just got those tiny little short man legs to get around

  6. Long live DNA and the cosmic side of marvel. Nova in Secret avengers is kinda weird. It’s been three issues in that series and he has barely had any lines. In this issue of Thanos imperative I thought it was going to be crazy action but I felt like the captain marvel story back story slowed it down. But I have faith in DNA and I am sure it will pay off in the next issue.

  7. Great issue… Who was the guy all the way on the right in Nova’s dream team?

  8. @Grandturk  Wasn’t that Ronan the Accuser?  That’s the guy that Crystal married to cement the relationship between the Inhumans and the Kree.

  9. This book sets Nova up as like the god of the Marvel universe or at least someone who can control and lead all of the most powerful beings in the universe. I love it.

  10. @zatt – was it? I didn’t know he was still around. I never finished the war of kings series.

  11. He sure isn’t 12 feet tall like he’s drawn in this book. Drax should be about the same size as Thanos, perhaps a bit smaller since he was depowered in Annihilation, but they’re not even close here. It’s just distracting, aren’t the characters supposed to have size/style guidelines?

  12. Listed as 6’7″ in the online OHOTMU. All of 3″ taller than Drax.

  13. This was awesome. I would love to see Nova’s dream-team spin off into a cosmic avengers book.

  14. @jforeman – Holy shit that would be awesome

  15. Sepulveda has got to be one of my fave artists right now, really bringing his A-game on this one. Yea, Drax looks different here than the badass look he had during Annihilation, and where did Beta Ray Bill come from all a sudden? That guy should be able to wreak havoc, because he’s supposed to be pretty much as powerful as Thor; and Gladiator is like Superman, and then with Silver Surfer? The Revengers should have no chance.
