Last issue was really disappointing. You could read all of the beats coming a mile away. Here’s hoping it improves with this issue.
I would say this whole series has been a bummer. I remember being all excited when it was announced, but now I’m this close to dropping it for good.
And I now upon James Tynion’s name as a red flag. Not JT Krul bad. Not Tom DeFalco real bad. Not Eric Wallace really really bad or Felicia Henderson terrible. But not good.
So I’m guessing you are not happy he is taking over Red Hood and the Outlaws?
No, Red Hood has been added to my chopping block. Losing Roccafort was a bummer. Losing Lobdell, too, it could be a completely different book. I will give it a chance, but it’s on a short leash.
….sometimes I feel like I’m the only one that really enjoys every issue and always wants it to be the next month so I can get the next one. I love the art and story. *shrug* all well.
I’m with you. I think I have given every issue of this series 5 stars so far I think. I really like Tynion as a writer. His backup stories over on Batman have been awesome.
I love this book. I genuinely look forward to reading every issue. I think it’s been fantastic from the get go and works well to continue the courts presence in the DCU.

This was….alright.
March’s art was better but the story really isn’t grabbing me here. I want to like it but I can’t find much to really care for here. Don’t want to drop it but I might if the blahness keeps up.

I thought this was the best issue of the series so far. I’m really starting to love Calvin’s supporting cast. He has a really good team working with him. Should be interesting now that Batman has shown up.
