  1. Consistently very good.  Anyone know how long the series is scheduled to last?  For some reason I have the number 36 – as in 36 issues – flipping about my head.

  2. I have a feeling this is going to be a fucked up issue.

  3. Lemire has planned it to be around 50 issues.

  4. @zuper – Nice.  Thank you!

  5. I thought there was more to the way that the bear saw gus an issue or two ago. I wonder who the White Devil is… Jeppard maybe?

  6. Maybe I’m slow in the head but I didnt catch the significance of the tree logo on the dead guys jacket at the end. Anyone mind filling me in? Are they park rangers or something?

  7. @thompsonlive  I was wondering the same thing..

  8. @thompsonlive  Oh! Based on the cover? They worked for the Dam. The guy left in there is the bad guy.

  9. @NathanNicdao ok that makes a lot more sense now. thanks

  10. @thompsonlive Yeah if you go back to issue 20 the logo can be seen inside the Dam too.

Another solid issue, although it was always gonna be hard to top the BEAR FIGHT (!) from the previous book.

Maybe I’m really slow on the uptake of this one… but anybody else think there’s any significance in Jeppard rhyming with shepherd?

  11. @Phosphene I think there is… Notice the broken english the hybrid kids have? It’s like a mixture of baby-talk and broken english for Shepherd. So, Dr. Singh is the Prophet Gus is the Propecy and Jepperd is the Shepherd. Except, of course, there comes a big twist involving someone.
