   This series has been beautifully illustrated and strongly written… But the decompression is starting to get to me. I might just grab this one and wait for the final then read them together. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll love it, that’s just what I’m planning on doing. Same with animal man.

   I’ve been enjoying this more than Animal Man since Rotworld started, I think this story would have been fine as a Swamp Thing only arc; the Baker family would have been better served on their own, oh well 20/20 hindsight and all that.

   I wonder when we’ll find out who’s replacing Snyder and Paquette on Swampy, because that will have a big effect on my decision to continue reading it or not.

   Great issue, great arc, great series. I don’t know who the next writer of Swamp Thing will be but they have a hell of a challenge following Scott Snyder. With that said, I can’t wait to read it as whoever DC puts on it, will mean they have great confidence in them, especially if the book is meant to serve as a creative output for upcoming writers like Snyder suggested.

   This was excellent. I think that’s partially because I’ve resigned myself to riding out Rotworld and seeing where it goes from there, but this was a great issue. It felt vital again. I was fully prepared to give my POTW honors to Thor (with the possible upset of Brian Wood’s Star Wars), but this surprised the crap out of me and got me pumped up for the final battle. Pick of the Week for me!

   Hats off, Scott. Look forward to the conclusion and to your future work.

   This whole Rotworld thing has just gotten silly beyond words. It’s been too long since I’ve read a good issue of Swamp Thing and I can’t wait for the new creative team to take over. Ridiculous.
