Agreed. And more Cary Bates – this book has been a terrific surprise, it’s even better than his Captain Atom work.
Seriously, who saw this level of quality coming? This has been a great re-introduction to the Elseworlds line, and I look forward to many more entries.

I’m LOVING this mini! It’s definitely one of those, "if you’re not reading, you’re missing out" books. Well worth $5 a pop.
I thought Cary Bates might be old and out of touch (like Stan Lee) but his writing seems to be really darn good.
This series was epic.
This was one of the worst comics I’ve read in a long time. Really awful. This ranks down there with that Rise of Arsenal issue the guys mocked on the podcast. I’ll post a review later with my specific grievances.
