  1. A good crop of talent makes me wanna buy this. Hopefully Krul doesn’t bring everything down…

  2. This’ll be the first issue of this I’ve been excited for in a while. Bring it on.

  3. The sad thing is, even if Quietly really did turn in artwork half-finished like that, I’d still buy and read it.

  4. @OttoBott – You and me both.

  5. Anything with Levitz and the Legion is a must buy. Adding in a little Adam Hughes is just icing on the cake.

  6. Levitz has been very hit or miss with me lately. Here’s hoping this is one of the hits.

  7. PULLED. Just for the cover. That shit’s getting framed.

  8. Levitz kicked ass on the annual. Krul is the only real worry here.

  9. Joe Kelly is back at DC?

    sweet!

  10. Definitely looking forward to the Superboy/Red Robin story the most.

  11. @AmirCat: I Know! Joe Kelly’s DC work was always sooooo great. His Superman/Action Comics run is one of my all time faves, just good plain old superhero comics. His JLA run is one of the most underrated Justice League runs ever.

  12. After giving the finished cover another look, I really can’t help but think this is an issue of Superman/Batman guest starring New X-Men’s Professor Xavier.

  13. First time I buy a book for his cover, but damnit, look at that gorgeous thing!

  14. This looks like the start of good times for this book, the next few issues all look awesome!

  15. I’m really looking forward to the Supergirl/Damien mix.  Also a huge fan of Red Robin and Superboy.

    Woo hoo!

  16. I didn’t enjoy the main story as much as I’d hoped, but some of the other material was exceptional.

  17. Didnt really dig the lead story or the self-servicing Seagle story, but the rest was fantastic.

  18. Didn’t super like the main story that much but everything was A-OK

  19. This issue was almost or equally as awesome as Wonder Woman 600.

  20. Finch’s stuff looked great!  Looking forward to his run on Batman.

  21. Best part, btw, was the Calvin & Hobbes spoof, Lex & Joker, that was great.
