   do or drop for this mini. first ish had some great ideas, but the "cliffhanger" was terrible. It gave me no ambition to continue, so this next issue will have to wow me.

   Agreed. Usually Ellis and Avatar books have great cliffhangers every issue that make me want to read them in issues instead of trade. Doesn’t help that Ellis posted on his website today that #3 looks like it will be shipping late cuz he is behind on stuff (surprise, surprise). I was hopeful with 2 issues coming out so close together but once again Ellis and Avatar are going to make me wait. Still reading it in issues though (sigh).

   Good, but the weakest of Ellis’s work at Avatar in my opinion.

   Pretty solid 4/5 stars from me. Pretty sure I’ll keep up with the series in it’s entirety. 4/5.
